Bhoothnath - Another Great Work by Amitabh Bachchan

Saw Bhoothnath last week. I would say its Indianized version of Casper and again Amitabh's performance is simply brilliant. Some of the things i loved in the move -

1. Overall story is handled well. It doesn't get shaky anywhere.
2. Juhi's character is good.
3. You love to see Rajpal Yadav :)

Somethings that i didnt like so much, but then its ok. I wont really give too much weightage to it-

1. The ending was something i didn't expect. They have left room for a sequel.
2. The little magic and wonder that Amitabh did all over was a lil too much. The director has over done it, i feel.

If you havent seen the movie yet, go ahead and see it. You wont be miserably disappointed.

Krazzy 4 - Movie Review

Saw this movie yesterday. Short description – “The Movie is Krazzy”. I won’t recommend anyone to go and see this movie in a Theatre. Some salient points, I’d like to highlight:

1. Lot of disconnect between the characters and the story.
2. Overall story is good. But then too many background stories of each character is included, which kind of gets boring. I believe the direction of the film isnt that good.
3. There is no proper synchronization between the events and the scenes. Very unorganized.
4. Comedy is very shady. You are kind of forced to laugh.

Movie Summary:
4 Characters – All Mentally disturbed in some form. They stay in a mental hospital somewhere and their doctor happens to be Juhi Chawla. She plans to take them out to watch a cricket match, which I guess was part of their treatment. On the way Juhi is kidnapped by some goons, who happen to be sent by her own husband. Then these 4 guys are left loose in the city. Then the boring sequence of their individual life’s starts. One guy meets her long lost girl friend, another one happens to meet his family and so on and so forth. Finally they set out to get Juhi from the Kidnappers. Lots of silly action here. After all the tussle they get her from the kidnappers using a silly idea and then the movie ends. Hrithik is awesome in the final dance sequence. According to me that’s the only good part in the film.
